In this #1 selling tour, you will discover unspoiled nature, fuzzy hot springs and amazingly beautiful waterfall.

We will start our tour with a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Thingvellir National park, a geological wonder, where the American and Eurasian tectonic plates are pulling apart at a rate of couple of centimetres per year. 

 

Next, we make a stop at Geysir geothermal area. Here we find hotsprings like the Great Geysir and Strokkur. The latter one erupts frequently, every 5-7 minutes while Great Geysir only once or two times every year.

In just few minutes from this amazing site, we visit Gullfoss (Golden Falls) waterfall. Here you can see the water plummet down 32m in two stages into a canyon with walls around 70 meters.

Next we will make a stop at Friðheima, stable and tomato farm where you can dine in between the tomato plants.

After wandering around the fields of tomatoes we will make a short stop at Skálholt church, one of the most historic place in Iceland. It´s been a seat of learning and administration for 700 years.

After learning about Christianity in Iceland we will visit our last site, a volcanic crater, formed around 3000 years ago.
